Careers for Graduates in Arts

Knowledge of English, Hindi, Political Science, Economics and History is essential for all those who have successfully completed their 10+2 courses. Most of the jobs in Central and State Governments, Public as well as Private Sector Undertakings require a minimum of graduation as a qualification for joining middle level positions and accordingly these graduates appear in the entrance / competitive examinations for joining as trainees. Graduates may also undergo for a Master’s Degree of their choice based on their inclination for joining different services or for undertaking entrepreneurial activities besides managerial competence to throw themselves into their respective positions besides dedicating themselves for national development. .

Total Fee : Rs. 24,150

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 24,150 in the name of  “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland by speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).

Bachelor’s Thesis : Students are required to submit a Bachelor’s Thesis at the end of third year.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subjectwise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
