Objective : The three years B.A. (Hons.) in Physical Education conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of physical and sports education, physical education infrastructure, values, measurement and evaluation in Physical Education etc.

Careers in Physical Education
Physical Education has components like cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition. Physical Education trends have developed recently to incorporate a greater variety of activities. Introducing students to lifetime activities like bowling, walking / hiking or frisbee at an early age can help students develop good activity habits that will carry over into adulthood. Stress reduction techniques like yoga and deep breathing have also been incorporated into the curriculum of physical education. Experts are needed in all schools, colleges and universities. It is in fitness of things that those who are willing to join this specialised area of physical education start their training just after 10+2 level so that they may acquire expert skills during their Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Physical Edu. for contributing in this field.

Total Fee : Rs. 24,150

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 24,150 in the name of “The Global Open University Nagaland, Sodzulhou and Kozabe, P.O.- ARTC NH-29, Dimapur-Kohima Road, Chümoukedima – 797115, Nagaland by speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).

Bachelor’s Thesis : Students are required to submit a Bachelor’s Thesis at the end of third year.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subjectwise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
