The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of electrocardiography, treadmill exercise stress testing, ecocardiography, cardiac catheterization etc.
Eligibility : 10+2 with science subject
Duration : 3 years
Awards : Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Cardiac Technology shall be awarded to the successful candidates.

Careers in Cardiac Technology
Cardiac Technologists and Technicians use imaging technology to help physicians diagnose cardiac and peripheral vascular ailments in patients. Cardiac Sonographers use ultrasound to examine the heart valves, chambers and vessels. Vascular experts who assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting the circulation are also in equal demand as they obtain a medical history, evaluate pulses and assess blood flow.
Total Fee : Rs. 24,150
Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 24,150 in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 by registered post only.
Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).
Attachment with Hospitals : All admitted students must be attached to a full fledged hospital having a pathological laboratory. Admissions will not be granted without such an attachment.
Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subjectwise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
