Advanced Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration

Objective : The one year Advanced Diploma in Colour Consultation conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of architecture, interior design and furniture design.

Duration : 1 year

Award : Advanced Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University Nagaland.

Careers in Interior Design and Decoration

The increasing importance placed on interior design has made the profession one of the fastest growing fields in India. Fresh Diploma from interior design courses can find gainful employment with independent architects or in large architectural firms, building contractors, hotels and resorts. Professionals may also find work in private design consultancy firms, theaters and exhibition organizing companies. The nature of the interior design profession also offers excellent prospects for individuals who want to work part time or full time self-employed. Interior designers can start their own business with minimal investment and get high returns.

Total Fee : Rs. 15,150

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 15,150 in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University Nagaland, Sodzulhou and Kozabe, P.O.- ARTC NH-29, Dimapur-Kohima Road, Chümoukedima – 797115, Nagaland by speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Semester/Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
