Bachelor of Science (Critical Care Technology)

Objective : The three years Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Critical Care Technology conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of infection control, airway care, extubation, oxygen therapy, ventilator care, respiratory support, trauma burns etc.

Eligibility : 10+2 with science subject

Duration : 3 years

Awards : Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Critical Care Technology shall be awarded to the successful candidates.

Careers in Critical Care Technology
Critical Care Technology focuses on the utmost care of the critically ill or unstable patients. It is also concerned with the diagnosis and management of life threatening conditions requiring sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring. There is an urgent need for preparing a competent cadre of young professionals trained in the area of critical care technology.

 

Total Fee : Rs. 24,150


Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 24,150 in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 by registered post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha). 

Attachment with Hospitals : All admitted students must be attached to a full fledged hospital having a pathological laboratory. Admissions will not be granted without such an attachment.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects..
