Bachelor of Science (Radiology and Imaging Technology)
Objective : The three years Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Radiology and Imaging Technology conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of clinical radiography, image processing technology, radiation safety, imaging modalities etc.
Eligibility : 10+2 with science subject
Duration : 3 years
Awards : Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiology and Imaging Technology shall be awarded to the successful candidates.

Careers in radiology and Imaging Technology
Radiologists and Imaging Technologists perform the imaging of human body for diagnosis or treating medical problems. They work in clinics, hospitals and radiological / imaging centres.
They use their expertise and knowledge of patient handling, physics, anatomy, pathology, physiology and radiology to assess the patients besides developing optimal techniques for evaluating the resulting radiographic images. They are required in all hospitals.
Total Fee : Rs. 24,150
Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 24,150 in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 by registered post only.
Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).
Attachment with Hospitals : All admitted students must be attached to a full fledged hospital having a pathological laboratory. Admissions will not be granted without such an attachment.
Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subject wise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
