Objective : The three years B.A. (Hons.) in NGO Management conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of voluntary action, NGO activism, global democracy, social work, fund raising, grass root level development etc.

Careers in NGO Management

NGO Management is one of the main factors of developmental planning at the grassroot level. The idea is to cater to the growing demand by NGOs and individuals for training in NGO and Voluntary Sector Management besides planning and implementation techniques with a view to translating the social programmes into action having educational, vocational, scientific and economic contents for the optimum development of a sustainable society. NGOs also improve their performance through concurrent and project monitoring and evaluation of their schemes commissioned by the Government. Graduates in the area of NGO Management may join voluntary organisation or may go for a Master’s Degree in NGO Management or any other subject of their choice with a view to dedicate themselves for the nation.

Total Fee : Rs. 24,150

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 24,150 in the name of  “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Nagaland, Dimapur – 797112, Nagaland by speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha). 

Bachelor’s Thesis : Students are required to submit a Bachelor’s Thesis at the end of third year.

Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subjectwise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects.
