Diploma in Draftsmanship

Objective : The one year Diploma in Draftsmanship conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland, through distance education has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the field of draftmanship.

Eligibility : 10+2 Duration : One year

Award : Diploma in Draftsmanship shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University Nagaland.

The increasing importance placed on drawing experts has made the profession one of the fastest growing fields in India. Fresh graduates from drafting course can find gainful employment with independent architects and interior design firms. Professionals may also find work in private design consultancy firms. The nature of the Drafting profession also offers excellent prospects for individuals who want to work part time or full time self-employed. Drafting experts can start their own practice with minimal investment and get high returns.

Total Fee : Rs. 12,150

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 12,150 in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland by speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Semester/Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination 
Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).

Study Materials : The Identity Card and the Set of Study Materials will be despatched to the admitted students within a month from the date of receipt of completed applications along with other documents and first instalment of fee.

Assignments : Students must submit assignments in the form of Mini Project Reports for each Paper.
