Objective : The two years Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Health Care and Hospital Administration conducted by The Global Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the growing needs of experts in the fields of hospital waste management, patient care and counselling, health insurance, public health and safety, hospital facilities and infrastructure, hospital automation, health laws, medical ethics, some of the examples of applicable interdisciplinary areas include: productivity and operations analysis in health care, health information systems, health care financial management and strategic management in health care.

Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline. Duration : Two years

Award : Master of Science in Health Care and Hospital Administration Studies shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open University, Nagaland.

Hospital Administrators have now become essential for managing hospitals and medical facilities. They are responsible for overall care, education and research on patient care, hospices drug abuse and community help. Careers opportunities in the field of hospital administration are increasing very rapidly not only because of the growing importance of hospital industry, but also with the difference in the nature of work in hospitals. It is an apt Careers for those having and empathic nature and a flair for health care services for ensuring comfort for the patients.

Total Fee : Rs. 34,150

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 34,150 in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer,  The Global Open University, Sodzulhou Village, P.O. – ARTC, NH-39, Dimapur – 797115 Nagaland by registered / speed post only.

Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).

Master’s Thesis : All students are required to submit a Master’s Thesis at the end of second year.
