Objective : The one year Post Graduate Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety conducted through distance mode has been designed for Graduates of all disciplines in order to acquire expert knowledge of environmental health, natural resources management, industrial safety, health and hygiene, occupational health, industrial pollution control etc.
Eligibility : Graduates of any Discipline Duration : 1 year
Award : Post Graduate Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety will be awarded by The Global Open University Nagaland to all successful candidates.

The types of functions performed by EHS professionals vary extensively. Those working in EHS fields provide employee education about safety and environmental regulations, study environmental and health laws to ensure that the employer was compliant with all regulations,research processes and materials used in hazardous manufacturing situations to determine the level of the threat, clean-up regimens, and disposal requirements and costs, work within the company to ensure their EHS records and processes are prepared, organized, and enforced, recommending changes when necessary.
Total Fee : Rs. 20,150
Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the full fee i.e. Rs. 20,150 in the name of “The Global Open University, Nagaland” payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions Officer, The Global Open University Nagaland, Sodzulhou and Kozabe, P.O.- ARTC NH-29, Dimapur-Kohima Road, Chümoukedima – 797115, Nagaland by speed post only.
Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 300 per paper is to be paid before appearing in the Annual Examinations to be held at different Examination Centers within the State of Nagaland (Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha).
Thesis and Project : All students are required to submit a Thesis at the end of the year.
Assignments : All admitted participants must submit subjectwise assignments based on the Mini Project Reports to be prepared by them on a topic related to each of the subjects..
