Objective : The one and a half years Distance Learning Executive Master
of Business Administration (Executive MBA) degree being conducted by The Global
Open University, Nagaland has been designed for meeting the demand of the
growing needs of experts in the fields of human resource development, marketing,
finance, production and operations, international business, retail management,
information technology and systems, insurance, intellectual property rights,
green business, TQM, remote sensing, biotechnology, IPR, sustainable
development, police administration, geriatric care, criminology, forensic
science etc.
Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline (Arts / Commerce / Management /
Science / Engg. / Medicine / Agriculture / Law etc).
Duration : One and a half years followed by six months internship.
Examination : To be conducted every year on 23-30 June and 23-31 December
at Agartala, Aizawl, Allahabad, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bhopal,
Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Dimapur, Gangtok, Guwahati,
Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow,
Mumbai, Panaji, Port Blair, Patna, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram,
Varanasi, Wokha.

Award : The Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA)
Degree shall be awarded to all the successful candidates by The Global Open
University, Nagaland.
Teaching Methodology : The Spot Admission and Central Despatch Unit of
The Global Open University, Nagaland will accord admission to the students and
provide all facilities including counselling, identity cards, lessons, guidance,
assignment sheets etc.

Study Materials : Printed lessons will be despatched from the Central
Despatch Unit. The assignments will also be sent to the admitted participants
periodically. These assignments will be completed by the participants as an
integral part of the MBA Degree.
Medium of Instruction : Lessons are in English and so the students are
required to appear in the examination in English.
Tuition and Other Fee : The total fee for the distance learning Executive
MBA Degree is
Rs. 13,525 payable in three instalments. The first instalment of Rs. 4,525 is
payable at the time of admission. The remaining two instalments of Rs. 4,500 is
payable after six months and after twelve months.
The details of fee to be paid by the participants of the Executive MBA are as
follows :

Accordingly, the Application Form duly filled-in along with four stamp size
photographs, copies of certificates and mark sheets and a Bank Draft for the
first instalment of fee, i.e. Rs. 4,525 in the name of "The Global Open
University, Nagaland" payable at Dimapur must reach the Admissions
Officer, The Global Open University, Opposite Railway Station, Dimapur 797112,
Nagaland. by registered / speed post only before the last date
announced by the University.
Confirmation of Admission : The Admissions Office will issue the money
receipt and send confirmation letters to all admitted participants within ten
days from the date of the receipt of completed applications alongwith first
instalment of fee and copies of certificates and testimonials. The identity card
and lessons will be despatched within a month.
Examination Fee : A fee of Rs. 150 per paper is to be paid before
appearing in the first, second and third Semester Examinations at any notified
location in India.
Examination Scheme : Each paper is of 100 marks out of which 30 marks are
for internal assessment based on performance after submission of assignments
where as 70 marks are for written examination to be held at different
examination centres in and outside the country.
Project Work : All admitted participants will be required to complete a
project on a relevant topic related to management and administration. The
project report based on the data collected from primary and secondary sources
will be submitted for evaluation. Conducting and completing the project work is
an integral part of the MBA Degree programme. The topic of the project work may
be related to HR, Marketing, Finance, NGO Management, Bioinformatics, IPR,
Actuarial Sciences, Green Business, International Trade, Disaster Management,
Tourism Business, Media Management, Total Quality Management, Rural Management,
Information Technology, Retail Management, Hotel Management, Catering
Technology, Sustainable Development, Police Administration, Pollution Control,
Geriatric Care, Criminology, Forensic Science, Global Peace, Medicinal Plants,
Entrepreneurship, Health Care and Hospital Administration, Nanotechnology etc.
